Seminar Summary

Here is a summary of what will be covered over the coming four years:

Year 1: Foundational Practices, Deities & Mahakala

  • Begin with the Outer and Inner Preliminaries, along with grounding practices of meditation to cultivate mental clarity and stability.

  • Engage with the Four Deities practice, establishing a connection with the core deities of the lineage.

  • Learn the Mahakala practice, embracing both the Dark Blue and White manifestations, for protection and removal of obstacles on your spiritual path.

Year 2: Bodhicitta + Vajrayana Explorations

  • Deepen your compassion and aspiration for enlightenment with Bodhicitta practices from the Shangpa Kagyu tradition, such as Niguma Lojong.

  • Develop focused concentration through Calm Abiding meditation (Shiné/Shamatha) and expand your understanding with analytical meditation (Lhatong/Vipassana).

  • Experience the profound practice of the Five Tantric Deities, connecting with their qualities.

Year 3: Advanced Vajrayana Techniques

  • Undertake the Six Yogas of Niguma, including Tummo (Inner Heat), to explore the body's subtle energy systems.

  • Each of the six yogas, such as Illusory Body and Dream Yoga, will be practiced intensively, allowing for personal transformation and realization.

  • Prepare for life's ultimate transition with Phowa practice, and discover the teachings on Clear Light that offers a glimpse into the nature of mind. Bardo or Intermediate state Practice prepares one to recognise the nature of mind within the after death state.

Year 4: In-Person Completion and Transmission

  • Receive teachings on Mahamudra, recognizing the nature of mind and reality. (Offered online)

  • Engage with practices related to the Three Integrations of Niguma, delving into the deepest aspects of being.

  • Work with the energies of the Red and White Dakinis, embodying the feminine wisdom aspect of the teachings.
